Returning home or building a career in the West? For Khady Niang Diakité, the choice was obvious. "I went back to Dakar because I was frustrated by the lack of opportunities in France. And I wanted to participate in the development of my country," she confides to Jeune Afrique. She is now at the head of her own company, Red Lips Beauty, with a turnover of 57,000,000 CFA francs (about 87,000 euros).

Profiles like her, the Moroccan group Intelcia, specializing in customer relationship management and the research firm Innongence consulting met many of them during a recent survey on the professional attractiveness of the African continent conducted among a panel of 800 people composed of young graduates and executives from the diaspora.
